HOW IS EUROPE DIFFERENT?
The soccer academy model is widely adopted throughout countries known to produce pro level players. England, Spain, Portugal, etc. all have sports academies where academics are closely related to sports activities.
In Europe, the goal is to play professional.
THE US COLLEGIATE AND PRO PATHWAY
While in the USA some player’s goals may also be to play professional… The USA also has a robust list of college soccer program across 100s of highly-desirable academic schools. Giving players clear pathways to academics and scholarships through collegiate level soccer

OF THE PRO PLAYER ACADEMY
FLORIDA STANDARD CURRICULUM
Pro Player Academy (PPA) is registered Florida private school which follows the same Florida state curriculum as your current St. Johns County School. State testing is also the same as brick and mortar schools.
IMAGINATION 2 LEARN PROGRAM
We believe that to ignite love of learning... Context comes first. What is context?
It’s the why behind why math, language, history, science are so important.
The program's goal is to inspire students to see how subjects they learn in school apply to the real world and ignite curiosity and therefore the desire to learn.
SOCCER PROGRAM
The goal is to give players a giant advantage in their preparation for collegiate soccer in the US
Which gives them access to academic programs across 100s of US colleges.
You still play in your regular club, but participate in training throughout the school day as well.

About our Founder
David is a life-long professional soccer coach. His world wide experience spans English professional football, USA collegiate and youth academies. Throughout his career his experience includes a bronze medal as assistant coach at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup with the England Senior Women's National Football Team, UEFA coach educator / mentor, FC Kansas City in the NatIonal Women's Soccer League (NWSL), recruiter for D1 college soccer at the Arkansas Razorbacks (25) Womens College Soccer Programme in the SEC Conference, assistant coach of the Jamaica National Women’s football Team, striving for qualification for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and aiming to become one of the top 3 nations in CONCACAF, and many more.
ABOUT US
The Pro Player Academy founded by David Gough is a private school in St. Johns County Florida. The academy incorporates academic curriculum with soccer training of the highest standards.
